Director's Message

I am pleased to announce the commencement of yet another edition of the BITS Sports Festival. This event was started in 2004 and has grown in scale and stature every year. Today, it is the largest sports festival in the UAE college circuit with more than 16 confirmed participations.

I have wholeheartedly supported the BITS Sports Festival since its inception and am pleased with its progress over the years under the guidance of Mr. Rafiuddin. This year, we have raised the profile of the event even higher with Indian Olympic Bronze Medalist Boxer Vijendra Singh as the Chief Guest for BSF 2009. We have also added colour to the event with games and food stalls operational throughout the event.

I wish Mr. Rafiuddin and the students the very best for BITS Sports Festival 2009.
