Workbenches, stools, and storage cupboards required to accommodate a batch of 20-25 students have been provided. Chemical preparation area, faculty demonstration area and two fume cupboards have been individually provided for. Each workspace has been provided with electrical power point and LPG gas supply for the Bunsen Burner. Water dispensers are made available as required. Small storage rooms with ventilated cupboards and shelves have been provided for the storage of the chemicals and consumables. The equipments such as pH meters, conductivity meters, hot air oven, electronic balances, water baths with stirrers, vacuum pumps, heating mantles, water stills for making distilled water, etc., have been provided along with sufficient glassware. The lab is equipped with an eye wash and emergency shower for use during emergency. A white board has been provided for use by the faculty.
